Mrs. Karen Torres is an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Texas since 2012. She earned a Bachelor of Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Brownsville and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Texas Southern University.

As an immigrant herself, having moved to the United States from Mexico at the age of seven, she has a personal understanding of the complexities and challenges of the immigration process. This experience has deeply motivated her commitment to assisting others in similar situations.

She specializes in immigration law, covering family-based immigration, naturalization and citizenship, deportation defense, and asylum. Her experience includes representing clients in bond hearings, deportation/removal proceedings, and appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals. She is dedicated to helping immigrants achieve their American dream, representing clients from various countries before Immigration Courts, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and U.S. Consulates abroad. She is prepared to provide comprehensive support for a wide range of immigration benefits, engaging closely and empathetically with clients to achieve positive results and deliver the best possible service.

Her areas of concentration also include personal injury, family, and criminal law.
